Rtn. Manish Poddar, the youngest child of Smt. Chanda devi Poddar and Shri Vijaykumar Poddar was born on 4th April 1984, in Muzzaffarpur, Bihar. Since childhood he has been always more interested in extracurricular and social activities apart from studies.

Being always ready to help and sympathetic towards the needy, he likes to take responsibilities and challenges that comes in front of him. He migrated to Bharuch and completed his graduation in Commerce followed by MBA (Marketing).

He started his business as a distributor of FMCG products which he is running successfully now. After enjoying Rotaract movement, and his tenure as DRR in 2011-12, he joined Rotary in year 2012-13 and has been an active member of Rotary since then and has served many posts at Club as well as District level. He has been awarded 100% attendance award and award for the best Rotarian for the year 2014-15, 2017-18 as well as 2018-19 at Club level.

His journey as president was extremely successful in the year, 2019- 20 which was appreciated and awarded as best of the best president of the year. He has also been honoured with many other prestigious awards like Top 10 Rotarian of the year Award and avenues of Service award.

Manish, an ardent food lover specially needs panipuris for recharging himself almost everyday. His-interests include net surfing, watching movies,listening to music and reading. He is happily married to Rtn Rachana Poddar and is blessed with three sons Akshat, Avyaan and Aahvan…. Lastly, let me tell you guys, Rotarian Manish Poddar is often known as the Bahubali of Rotary.
